There are some traditions in this holiday. For example, people would have a big dinner with there families. After dinner, they often enjoy the full moon which is round and bright. The other tradition of mid-autumn festival is eating moon cake.
Moon cake is the essential of that day, which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but they are much more expensive than before. I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

今天，我很早就起来了，因为今天要回老家，我们回去之前买了很多月饼。
我们需要穿过滨河路。滨河路的两旁种着桂花树，散发着桂花香味儿。过了一会儿，我们走到了三夹河，三夹河里的水哗啦啦地流着，河边地里，农民伯伯在捡花生，还有的在捡玉米，一片丰收的景象。过了一会，我又看见了一位爷爷赶着一群羊。这时我看见了地里的玉米金灿灿的。弟弟说：“妈妈，快看地里的小麦成熟了。”弟弟这句话把妈妈逗得哈哈大笑，妈妈笑着对弟弟说：“傻孩子，这是玉米，不是小麦。”不一会儿，我们就到了外婆家，外婆家的门口有一棵柿子树，上面的柿子红彤彤的，就好像一盏盏灯笼在上面挂着。外婆家的大白狗摇着尾巴，上蹿下跳地欢迎我们回家。

一阵清风吹来让我感到无比凉爽，同时也吹走了乌云。只差一点点了！月亮奋力一越跳过了乌云的阻挡，以更加美丽的姿态出现在我面前，我陶然若醉，他是那么的美丽，那么的明亮，也那么的光彩照人。我坐下慢慢品味，月光如镜，没有一点瑕疵；月光如水，没有一点动静。回头一看，月亮把城市笼罩在自己的怀中，让他们安然入睡，暗淡的灯光也拖着沉重的眼皮工作着，终于熄灭了。
转眼间，月亮旁边的乌云亮起来了，不，他现在不是乌云，是五彩斑斓的暇云！

今天是周四是中秋节了，早上我睡眼朦胧的睁开眼，都快困死了，可一想到今天竟然是中秋节，高兴的不得不睁开眼睛。
上午了，我写了数学和英语还有语文配套练习册第六课，就去看电视了，可是一想，今天是中秋节啊！爸爸妈妈和弟弟都出去买东西了，只有我和姥姥在家，姥姥在床上歇着，这时我想到该到我大显身手的时候了，我立马跑进厨房，找了冬瓜、西红柿、土豆。可我一本正经的考虑，还是做西红柿鸡蛋汤吧！我先把西红柿的皮刮了，然后小心翼翼的把西红柿切成块，然后放到锅里油，等油熟了再放上西红柿放上水，放了两个鸡蛋，然后放上了点葱花最好玩的是我这个小厨师不会做菜，把刀、板子、盆子。弄的砰砰响，姥姥竟然完全不知道，完全不知情啊！我刚要打开煤气，正好姥姥的电话响了，忽然姥姥说哎哎哎！！！泽泽你在干嘛？我说请叫我厨师我正在做饭，姥姥看了看我的杰作，哈哈大笑起来，说你怎么没放盐啊！！！我长叹了一口气，闷闷不乐的说:我为什么总是忘了放盐呢？
今天上我做饭虽然没有成功，但我还是又一次受益，还是很开心！
