黑暗童话故事Dark Fairy Tales
When we are very small, we have read about many fairy tales. Our parents will read them to us before we sleep. These fairy tales tell us about wonderful stories, such as the prince and princess. They show the children the importance of being a nice kid. But when I grow up, I start to see some movies about the dark side of fairy tale. Take the Snow White for example, it begins with the happy ending of Snow White. At her wedding, the witch came and cursed her child. It is not a happy ending at all. What I have read before is completely changed. The dark fairy tales are not bad sides at all. They tell me the world is not as perfect as I think, so that I can better accept the difficulty.

Deep Wounds of the Sichuan Quake
One of the recurring themes from last year"s earthquake in Sichuan is official corruption and the extent it contributed to the collapse of substandard schools, killing a still unknown number of children. Another, less discussed issue, is the degree to which many local officials in the disaster zone were victims themselves.
自去年四川地震以来，一个反复出现的主题是关于政府官员的腐败，以及因之产生的未达标学校的倒塌，导致仍不知确切数字的孩子们的死亡。而很少论及的另一个问题，是灾区地方官员自己成为受害者的程度。
In Beichuan, where as many as 15,000 residents were killed, a quarter of the local officials also perished in the quake. Many of the survivors lost family members. When my colleague Lin Yang and photographer Ian Teh went back to Sichuan last fall, we met with a Beichuan official whose wife and daughter were both killed on May 12. Zhang Kangqi keeps a drawing of them, sketched from old ID photos, by his bed. All other mementos of them were buried in Beichuan. Rescuers yesterday pulled out more survivors. A woman worker of the local power plant was rescued last night in Yingxiu town, Sichuan province, 150 hours after the quake. The rescue team spent 56 hours saving Yu Jinhua.
Yesterday afternoon, a 53-year-old man was also rescued in Yingxiu, 148 hours after the tremor. The man, Shen Peiyun, was conscious and was taken to hospital by helicopter.
In the morning, a man named Tang Xiong was rescued from a collapsed hospital in Beichuan county 139 hours after the quake.
Also in Beichuan, another man was rescued Saturday night from a collapsed building. Wu Jianping was then taken to hospital.

If I Had a Time Machine时光机

Apparently, most schools often organize sports activities, such as football games, races and etc. However, people have different views about these sports activities.
Most teachers hold the opinion that sports activities are good to the health of the students and can reduce the possibility of illness. There"s a saying which can express their reason-life lies in motion. And they also believe that during those activities, the students can develop the spirit of hard work and cooperation, and as a result, they will be more active in their lessons.
On the contrary, most students argue that these games are completely a waste of time. If they can use the time learning their subjects instead of playing football, they"ll make great progress in their lessons. What"s more, they feel very tired after these activities, which has a bad effect on their learning efficiency.
From my perspective, sports activities should be supported. We can shorten the time of these activities so that they may not affect our lessons. 我记着那一天，上完第一节语文课，我们排着正齐的队伍来到操场，坐在凳子上。首先，是表彰大会，是几个领导来到我们学校，给我们发书。我觉得开会的时间好慢呀！没过一会我就累得腰酸背痛。
表彰大会终于结束了，我站起来，我们把凳子摆好，和大家一起排着整齐的队伍来到塑胶操场。
首先我玩儿的是我们班的游戏，杨老师说：“规则是：每一个人先把沙包夹在脚中间，然后夹着沙包跳，只要能捅进盆子里，就给你一个奖章。”杨老师说完，我们就一个一个的玩，每人只有三次机会。该轮到我了，我夹着沙包使劲一跳，没有赢，但我不灰心，继续努力，但是那两次还是没有赢。我去问了问我的好朋友修煜遥修煜宜邓三次，也一次都没有赢。
接下来我和修煜胰ネ婺闷古仪蚺模端着乒乓球走，谁不掉就获得一个奖章。我玩了两次，没有赢。修煜乙餐媪肆酱危但他都赢了。
这回我俩一起玩最简单的游戏，夹着球跑，跑的时候，谁球不掉，就可以获得一个奖章。我俩玩了两次，我都赢了，心里美滋滋的，心里乐开了花，因为我已经有两个奖章了。修煜彝媪肆酱蚊挥杏得奖章，他心里想：这么简单的游戏，我为什么没有赢呢？而且一次也没赢。现在，我和修煜医闭率已经同样多了！

我们玩得最后一个游戏是盲人打鼓游戏，规则是：每一个人带一个眼罩，敲一下鼓，在原地转三圈敲三下鼓，只要转完至少敲上一下，就能获得一个大奖章。我敲上了一次获得了一个大奖章，修煜乙睬蒙狭艘淮位竦昧艘桓龃蠼闭隆W苤，我现在获得了四个奖章。
回到班里，老师说：“三个奖章换一个大低算本，那也就是六个奖章换两个大地算本。”我换了一个大低算本，心里美滋滋的，我心里想：这可是我努力的结果呀！我以后还要多动手，多动脑筋呀！
这次活动可真有趣呀！

今天我们全班都去美丽的园山，在那里我们要磨练自我，所以全班都要在那里磨练三天。
来到园山我们首先要换衣服，我们把军服穿了上去，然后教官把腰袋给了我们，我们便穿上，就走了。
我们来到住宅的第一栋，可以看到旁边都是四年级一班、二班、四班、五班和六班都在这里集合，上面还有一位教官。教官叫我们立正，我们四年级就全部都站地非常端正。教官说：“如果你们站的不好的话今天就不能吃中午饭。”那时已经是中午了，所以我们要吃中午饭。后来我们全四年级都站的非常好，最后终于进入饭堂了。进入饭堂，教官叫我们站着，不能坐下，不然就要做20个伏卧撑，也不能讲话。后来叫我们拿椅子，而且只能给我们10秒钟的时间。后来我们以最快的速度哪好了椅子，后来教官叫我们坐下，我们就迅速的坐下了。后来我们就吃饭了。
到了下午，教官带我们来个地方，叫我们报数，其中报的好的只有20多个，包括我也参加了进去，其他人都在练啦啦队的口号。后来我们练了一个小时左右，终于练到2。04秒的成绩。后来比赛开始了跟我们PK的是四（2）班和四（5）班，后来由于我们抢报而得到了第二名。
这就是有趣的社会实践活动。
